Sunday 9/16

The start of the Jewish New Year brings hope for people everywhere, hope for joy, hope for peace, and hope for sweetness. May you all be inscribed in the book of life. For Judah, and for all of us, we pray for strength.

Today was a day filled with love from Aunt Rema and Uncle Josh, from Gramma Luba and Grampa Mark, and from all of you who came here to check on us and who sent us your thoughts.

But aside from good thoughts, we also had a lot of fun. Rema got to feed baby from his bottle, and Mommy had to change the same diaper 3 times, while Rema watched. Maybe tomorrow we will convince her to try to change a diaper herself. Even Josh and Mark got to hold little JudahBear. With enough coaxing they finally even gave him back.

Tonight, Mommy and Daddy will let the nurses take care of Judah as they go home to spend the first night together away from baby. Although it is difficult to leave him, they know that he is in excellent hands with the nurses here, who now know us all very well. We continue to be very confident that we have the best doctors and nurses in the world, and that baby is in the best hands possible. Tomorrow morning we will go to temple to pray, for baby, for ourselves, and for all of you.

Thank you all again for your love, your strength, your words of prayer, and for keeping us in your hearts and thoughts.
